The Child

The child is seen as an active, rapid learner. Research tells us that half his intelligence is developed by age four.  The child at this age wants to be independent. This builds self-esteem. An intense love exists for his environment.  The unconscious goal of the child is self-development.

Our Parents

The parents of our children are our partners and we strive to develop a close working relationship with them. We find many ways to work together in our common purposes for the children.  An observation room is provided for each classroom so the parents, educators and others who are interested may observe the children at work in the prepared environment. A parent Advisory Committee (PAC) involves all parents in programs and activities designed to enhance the curriculum and maintain a margin of excellence for the school.
