The Children's House Montessori School - North Boca was founded in 2000 for the purpose of establishing an exemplary Montessori Preschool and Kindergarten for children two through 6 years of age.  It is our purpose to engage the whole child in the learning process in order to stimulate his/her social, intellectual, physical, and spiritual character development in the preschool years.

 

The school is located in a free standing facility totaling 9,000 square feet. Our beautiful playground is surrounded with the calming sound of the birds and provides many shaded areas full of tall tropical trees.  The butterfly and herb garden is the most appealing spot for the children to work planting herbs, flowers and vegetables in addition to studying the life cycle of the butterfly while enjoying the butterflies dancing around them.

 

In addition to our 3 to 6 years old program we offer the transitional program for children ages 2 to 3 years.

 

Transitional Classes (Toddlers and Young Montessorians)

 

This class is for children ages two to early three years old.  This class is a great opportunity for a young child to be introduced to the Montessori method.  With the low teacher-student ratio of (1-7), In this class the child is gently supported in acquiring many independence skills.  The routines and the teaching cycles are similar to the 3-6 classes, therefore making the move to the older group a smooth transition.

 

Three to Six Classes (Early Childhood)

 

These classes are for children ages 3 to 6. With the low teacher- student ratio of (1-8) and the beautiful Montessori environment, the children experience the joy of learning, build self-esteem and achieve greater independence in addition to excelling in academics.

 

Our Teaching Staff

 

The teachers at Children’s House Montessori School - North Boca, in addition to caring deeply about children, must also be certified in the Montessori teaching Method. Most of our teachers have a Bachelor’s degree or higher.

 

The Parents

 

The parents of our children are our partners and we strive to develop a close working relationship with them. We find many ways to work together in our common purposes for the children.   A parent Advisory Committee (PAC) involves all parents in programs and activities designed to enhance the curriculum and maintain a margin of excellence for the school.

 

School Hours:

 

Our Schools Hours are from 7:30 am. to 5:30 pm.

 

Full Day:   8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Half Day:   8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

 

Before care from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and

After care from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. is available
